strategic planning
We support leaders in translating a mission into a goal-setting framework that cascades to everyone in the learning community. AIE utilizes a robust Objectives and Key Results process that is informed by student outcomes, focus groups, artifact reviews, and observations. Outputs from the OKR process are co-created with school leaders and the AIE team, and generally include long-term and incremental quantifiable goals, implementation plans, and a progress monitoring plan.
leadership coaching
We support school leaders to identify trends and barriers to academic gains, and to generate solutions. Grounded in academic outcomes and a restorative school culture, AIE supports school leaders to ensure instructional coaches and teachers are receiving targeted supports to develop the skills they need. AIE utilizes a gradual release model in which we model facilitation of high-impact professional development for staff prior to supporting leaders to replicate and refine their own PD vision. Some of our modeling and direct coaching services include how to foster a culture of feedback, building and training staff on culturally responsive and restorative behavior management systems, utilizing data to build a customized PD scope and sequence, and leadership transition/succession planning.
tEACHER DEVELOPMENT

In collaboration with school leadership, AIE identifies high-impact PD needs. From on-boarding and summer training, to creating differentiated PD tracks for novice and veteran teachers, to building a vision for diversity and equity in your school, AIE supports with planning and facilitating a teacher development program customized to your needs. Our services can be tailored to support school-wide initiatives for all teachers, departmental goals for specific contents or grade-levels, and individual coaching plans.

Our School Culture supports include building skills in conflict resolution through restorative practices, engaging in meaningful conversations about race and identity and establishing practices that foster social-emotional learning throughout every classroom.
